I assume the typo is his.

(On the other hand, I have in my files an acceptance letter from a well known writer and editor of a reputable magazine…)

I’m kind of…less worried about the occasional typo now.

  2. While it’s embarrassing for an editor to include accidental misspellings in any professional correspondence, let alone an acceptance letter, that editor still has a leg up on the unknown asking for a job.

I think I did that once. I still have the bruises from banging my head against the desk in frustration immediately after hitting “Send.”

I still blame the computer people for not allowing us to have a “Recall” button on our e-mail systems.

Looks like a personal ad for a dyslexic Casper…

I got hired once despite typos in my resume, luckily the hiring manager was illiterate

Possibly the ‘sot’ in ghsotwriter explains a boozy lot.

Tell me what you really think
