When you begin your query adventure, always make sure you have a designated email addy. If I’ve asked for pages and I see lovemahgoldfish@gloriouswriter.com, I have no idea who that is. I might think it’s spam and let my finger hover over the delete button.
However, if you have your name in your email addy, then I’ll recognize you right away. As scrambled as my brain can be at times, I need all the help I can get. Besides, it’s professional.
