Hah! I wondered the same thing. Just like a character who mysteriously disappears in a book, the banana went missing without a proper exit. Needs editing!
I think the banana may have supplanted the familiar pint often hidden in professional offices and was ensconced behind a few smaller volumes.
Pah. Who needs to hide the booze when you have a beagle whose belief system is “have blender, tequila, and limeade will travel”? Or am I just extraordinarily lucky?
