Ok, so it’s gonna be a bit longer…

I was so excited about going bionic and was doing great. Seems I learned the hard way that hospitals are harbingers of great healing and lots of buggy little bugs. And one decided to follow me home. The. Flu. Bug.

Like a ten inch incision down my hip and new bionics isn’t enough, for crying out After two days of pure hell, I’m feeling more like my black-hearted, soulless self, and I anticipate to be back online very soon parting the seas of writerly mayhem. At the very least, I’ll be giving a two week seminar starting June 13 with the Orange County Romance Writers of America. You can’t beat the price or the fun.

Hope to see you soon!

The beagle, in typical fashion, has offered to buy engine grease for my new hip joint. Funny, beagle. Very funny.

  1. That’s rough. Hope you feel better soon.

Yes, hospitals do seem to have a way of sending patients home along with a “gift” or two.

How awful for you to have to fight off effects of flu while trying to get better from operation. Don’t overdo it. June 13th is not that far away.

Guess the beagle can’t make you any margaritas, what with the painkillers and all.

    Feel better soon.

  3. Big hug from over the water. xx

  4. Thanks so much. I’m doing a lot better. Finally.

I’ll admit it, I live in fear of doctors and hospitals.

Sorry about the flu, hope it passes quickly! Get lots of rest and chicken soup!

  6. Rest up and hope you’re soon back on your feet. 😀

Tell me what you really think
