Great fun. My animal training background colors my perception, though. I spent the whole viewing figuring out how it was trained (through back-chaining, if you care), and wondering if I could train the wild crows at my house to do something similar.

Oh well, that’s it then. You think I’m gonna hang upside down by my nails, run through too-narrow pipes (I’d get stuck), cling onto a backward-swinging disc with no safety net, tightrope over a canyon (vertigo), leap 50ft chasms? Just to get published? I’m packing in my computer and I’m off to play football for Portugal instead.

I’ve got just a regular bird feeder on a pole outside, with a gadget that closes it up if a squirrel steps on the perch. I’ve got one squirrel that gets a running start and swear to God jumps at the pole hind feet first and smacks it with a real live ninja kick to shake the seeds onto the ground.
Tom, that’s a squirrel I’d love to have in my corner – someone clever and who kicks ass.
