Having had my privacy invaded at the airport…

I thought I’d offer the following year-to-date statistics on Airport Screening from the Department of Homeland Security:

Terrorist Plots Discovered 0
Transvestites 133
Hernias 1,485
Hemorrhoid Cases 3,172
Enlarged Prostates 8,249
Breast Implants 59,350
Natural Blondes 3

Suck it, TSA. And to the man who felt every crevice on my hubby in front of God and country AND had the nerve to wink at me, you’re lucky I left my bug spray at home.

I admit. I am NOT looking forward to flying this summer.

Remember when we thought western civilizations that invaded privacy and civil liberties were only found in those unreal sci-fi/fantasy novels/movies about future life after a coups d’etat?

Who knew we’d become our own worst nightmare without a military overthrow?

  3. There are no words to express my sorrow, frustration, and anger at the freedoms we’ve lost. Actually, it was the Russians who predicted we’d fall from within.

  4. NinjaFingers says:

Truth is…that as long as this continues, the terrorists are WINNING. They are getting exactly what they want…disruption in our commerce, us mistrusting our own government.

I am very sure and certain the ‘underwear bomber’ intended to get caught…

  5. You hit the nail squarely, Ninjie. They must be sitting in their camel dung caves having a good laugh at our expense. The most powerful nation in the world…brought to our knees by a bunch of Muslim radicals who live like cockroaches. Utterly amazing.

And it seems most Americans can’t see it. Maybe because they haven’t had the experience of living in a country where political terrorists are active…and haven’t THOUGHT about how these people WORK. They think we’re fighting a war. It’s not quite the same thing.

  7. Ninjie, we’ve been PC’d to death, and hating on anything isn’t tolerated by the thought police. Hence, we go down in flames wondering what happened. In short, we can be quite stupid. At least that’s my take on it, having living all over the world.

Tell me what you really think
